57 Nomad Nicely Restored

Only 7,200 Nomads were built by Chevy in 1957 and Ive owned this car since 2002. It has approx 12k miles since the frame off restoration. The engine is a 350 cubic inch (new) crate motor with a 4 barrel Quadrojet carb. The Turbo Hydramatic 3 speed automatic trans was overhauled before installation. Pertronix electronic ignition is installed inside a stock distributor. Air conditioning is under dash and uses R-12 so its very cold. The AC condenser is huge which contributes to cold AC. The AC shroud was custom built and allows the use of AC on the hottest Tucson days. Disc front brakes, 605 power steering & cruise control make this car into a great ride. Paint & bodywork were completed in 2004. Dupont metallic base coat, clear coat was applied and then completely rubbed out. The paint is in very good condition with a few minor nicks. Car is always stored inside and always waxed. Interior is black bucket seats with a custom wood steering wheel. Radio is aftermarket with subwoofer. Rear seat was removed and replaced with a sound equipment frame, however, I still have the original front and rear seats which are included in the price. Glass and chrome are excellent.
