Mild custom detailed Merc convertible

1948 Mercury convertible, mild custom, detailed, body modifications, built from an original, rust free, non accident car in 1988. This car was built in san Diego, the custom sheet metal work, paint was performed by Jack White, local street rod shop Norm Francis did mechanical work, wiring, electric, doors, trunk lid. I am the second owner of this beautiful convertible. The Merc won the Oakland Roadster modified convertible class 1989, also street rodder car cover, center fold June 1989, Then the original owner John Souza went on tour thru the United states at different car shows and won many trophies and awards.I continued to keep the car in excellent condition by continuing to never wash the car in cold water, luke warm water in a pan. Which has kept the original Ferrari red paint immaculate for a 27 year old built car, yes all paint top and bottom is original paint when built in 1989, no clear coat on this car. Body front sheet metal has been cut back six inches to give the car a more even look , like the ford. The hood pancaked, frenched head lights, taillights, turn signals, top chopped 4 inches. The outside of car has the monochromatic look, hidden hinges on doors, electric doors, trunk, custom taillights, top is Mercedes black material. Inside is glide seats, custom gray leather, tweed, wool floor rugs, custom hand rolled dash with vintage air oulets, custom gauges, floor console, stainless tilt wheel, stereo, The chassis has 9 inch ford with four bars, coil overs, front end mustang II power steering , 350 chevy, turbo 350, stainless headers, pipes thru out car. As you see in pictures everything detailed hidden underneath car, also by right rear tire there is a outlet for auxiliary battery hook up, there is a minor tub for bigger wheels. this a very nice car for 27 years old, very detailed, taken care of, would consider trades for equal value, when you are looking at cars to buy, look at the detailing under the hood, under the car
