This 1958 Porsche Speedster Replica by Vintage Motorcars in Hawaiian Gardens, California is configured completely stock and looks and drives like a dream. Power comes from an air cooled 1915cc flat four engine features twin 40mm dual barrel carburetors, Bosch ignition, oil cooler with electric fan and new exhaust. The engine has a 69.5mm chromoly crank, and 8 dowel flywheel. Manual transmission to feel the pedal to the metal. Independent rear suspension with adjustable front torsion bar, rear trailing arms, and adjustable front dampers. This build uses an IRS on a rear suspension with twin I beam front. New German fuel lines were installed during the build. Period correct 165R tires complement the build achieving proper ride height and stance. The seller notes that maintenance is up to date.
