This 2008 MBZ CLK 63 AMG Black Series is a Super Rare Super Car with just 453 original miles, is a one owner, fully documented, and is simply pristine inside and out. In 2008 Mercedes-Benz introduced the CLK 63 AMG Black Series, offering a lighter, more powerful version of its CLK AMG sibling. Available exclusively as a hardtop coupe, the CLK 63 Black featured extensive weight savings in order to increase the car's performance, including the removal of the rear seats. Powered by a 500hp naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 engine and paired to a 7-speed automatic transmission, the CLK 63 Black also features numerous upgrades to the suspension and drivetrain in order to improve driving and handling performance. It was said that AMG while designing the Black Series wanted to build a street legal Formula One car, and they did!
The Black Series was the ultimate version of the “normal” CLK, but its production numbers were limited. 2008 Mercedes supposedly sold fewer than 350 of these in the United States and less than 700 in the world. Production of the CLK 63 AMG Black Series ended in 2009, with a total of just 500 built.
