Board track racing was a type of motorsport popular in the United States during the 1910s and 1926s. Competition was conducted on circular or oval race courses with surfaces composed of wooden planks. This type of track was first used for motorcycle competition, wherein they were called motordromes.
The 1923 Harley-Davidson Model Chicago was the Panigale of its day, it was specifically designed as a racing motorcycle by Harley-Davidson and was destined to compete and board track circuits of the era. The suspension and brakes didnt exist, and mufflers hadnt been invented yet.
