Eventually we joined the NESC (New England Sports Committee) and started racing motocross competitively. Although I stopped racing motocross when I was 16 years old I've always remained passionate about the sport and watch AMA Supercross on TV religiously. Over the years I'm proud to say we've owned and sold many show quality vintage motocross bikes. I never dreamed that one day I'd be in a position to purchase a 2007 Honda CR250R that was new in a covered crate from the original owner with original documentation, NOS plastics and NOS riding gear. 2007 was the last year that Honda produced the two-stroke powered CR250R. The 2007 model is considered highly collectable and this example is the Holy Grail. The vintage motocross, ATC and ATV market has grown over the years and is very strong. After 35 years of producing the celebrated two-stroke motocross bike which began in 1973, Honda officially ended the CR250R's run to focus on their four-stroke CRF lineup. The 2007 Honda CR250R is highly revered as the final production year of Honda's legendary two-stroke motocross lineup. Featuring a 249cc liquid-cooled engine and a celebrated aluminum frame, it has become a sought-after collector's item. As the original Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin documents this example was built on September 26th, 2006 by American Honda Motor Co. Inc. in Japan. The original factory crate cover documents the make, model, frame number, engine number and dealership shipping information. As the original factory crate cover and paperwork documents it was shipped to Matto Cycle, Inc. located in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. As the original dealership Bill of Sale, Salesperson Delivery Check List and Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin documents it was sold to Erik Ferrar who lived in Centerport, New York. At the time of delivery Erik also purchased new Acerbis MX Uniko vented hand guards, Honda factory front fender, Honda factory rear fender, Honda factory radiator shrouds and Honda factory side panels, Athena forged piston kit, Athena motor gasket set, Fox Racing Honda jersey and Fox Racing Honda 180 race pants. Erik stored and handled this bike with the best of care over his 18 years of ownership before selling it to MS CLASSIC CARS in May of 2025. MS CLASSIC CARS purchased a new 2006 Karavan utility trailer and Haul Master heavy duty trailer dolly in May of 2026.
