Horsepower is provided by the Blue Oval Triton 5.4 liter SOHC V-8. It is equipped with a factory special tuned exhaust and output is rated at 260bhp and 350 lb/ft of torque. The Triton V8 is mated to a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and 3.55:1 limited-slip differential. Steering is power assisted and stopping power is provided by 4-wheel ABS disc brakes. The HD Edition is also equipped with a lowering package designed to enhance the performance of the coil spring front/leaf spring rear standard suspension.
