DESCRIPTION
When looking to collect the last of the front-engine Corvettes you are going to have some big desires on your checklist. You\'ll want a loaded 3LT trim level, a unique color combo, exceptional care, and the uber-desirable seven-speed manual transmission to harness all that exciting V8 power. This 2016 Chevrolet Corvette 3LT Stingray Coupe checks all the boxes as a beautifully preserved 2-owner, 7585-mile example that remains factory-fresh thanks to years of conscientious care and white-glove service. And other than an X-pipe exhaust upgrade that\'s turned the soundtrack up to \'11\', this Shark Gray beauty looks exactly like it did when it drove off the Corvette factory floor in Bowling Green, which coincidentally is where it was first delivered to the original owner (at the Corvette Museum).
The Stingray name brings up the image of something aggressive and sleek, and the factory Shark Gray Metallic paint takes that slippery and intimidating feeling to a whole new level. It has a modern sleekness that shows off the clean lines and little use you get from a car with just over 7,500 miles on the odometer. It\'s such a deep and comprehensive gray that you\'ll almost swear this car is forged from gunmetal instead of lightweight fiberglass. Sporty exterior details include a carbon fiber hood complete with a vented scoop, Xenon high-intensity headlights, functional fender vents, a removeable carbon fiber roof panel that\'s been painted Shark Gray to match, and an aggressive rear wing that\'s favorite phrase is \'downforce\'. Blacked-out Carbon Flash accents perfectly complement the Shark Gray paint, including the front chin spoiler, grille, ground effects, the rear diffuser, and badge package, while the quad exhaust tips out back are the last thing you see when this monster goes flying by.
The interior has been seriously revamped and upgraded as well, so all those snotty car magazine guys who complained about earlier Corvettes can go jump in a lake. The 3LT Preferred Equipment Group offered every luxury option available in 2016, which means this Corvette is absolutely loaded, and with Competition Sports Seats wrapped in Adrenaline Red leather upholstery, this cabin looks like it belongs in a Ferrari. The original owner also added on the Carbon Fiber Interior Package, and you can see those sporty accents throughout, and when coupled with sculpted door panels, expansive dash, and center console, the interior feels more like a jet cockpit. Bright dials light up when you hit the push-button starter, and the bark that comes with it makes every red-blooded human instinctly grab for the 7-speed shifter that\'s just a short reach away. It would easier to list what options are not inside this coupe, rather than the ones that are because the list is truly that extensive, but some of the highlights include a heads-up display, heated/ventilated seats, a premium Chevrolet MyLink sound system managed the 8-inch touchscreen in the center of the dash (which also includes multiple cameras, navigation, and a host of entertainment options), along with loads of airbags that protect everyone inside. And you may have already guessed it, everything inside looks practically new, including the surprisingly spacious rear storage area behind the seats.
But it\'s what\'s under the hood that should get you really excited. The engine bay is packed with 6.2-liters of V8 power, and on something this fresh, it\'s the original motor for the car. Plus, the upgraded multi-mode dual exhaust system not only lets this motor roar, but it also upgrades the power likely a good bit over the factory 460 horsepower rating. The Tremec seven-speed manual transmission is designed to give you full control over this fuel-injected powerhouse, and the fully independent suspension, Brembo four-wheel power disc brakes (complete with stylish red calipers), and speed-sensitive power steering make this the collectible that you won\'t be able to resist driving. Carbon Flash 5-spoke alloys wrapped in staggered 265/35/19 front and 305/30/20 rear Nitto performance radials finish off the killer look, perfectly complementing the Shark Gray finish.
The C7 was the last of the front-engine Corvette, and as that becomes more appreciated by collectors, a loaded, preserved, and distinct example like this will continue to stand out even more. So, get your hands on it now before this beauty gets out of reach. Call today!!!
