One of the most fearsome names on the streets is Lingenfelter. So when this master house creates a twin-turbo, methanol-injection 2000 Chevrolet Corvette, you have the rare opportunity at an affordably-priced 700 hp supercar... and it even still has the right creature comforts, like A/C!
This coupe has the right look for an upgraded car. The Dark Bowling Green Metallic and even darker tinted windows have a mean attitude with a touch of sophistication. And the darkness makes for a nice backdrop to really recognize the speedy upgrades like the Lingenfelter rocker twin-turbo decals, upgraded exhaust tips, and brightly polished Lingenfelter wheels. This is a true performance machine, and you'll experience a track-ready kind of feeling when you drive it. So while it's just a professional detail from really delivering a show-ready style, we appreciate the sharp driver-ready appearance of a car that has averaged only about 3,700 miles annually.
The tan leather interior is quite distinctive against the full dark exterior, and so it's great to take the targa top to show off the full package. This Corvette comes loaded with cold-blowing air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, power locks, keyless entry, dual airbags, tilt/telescope steering column, power steering, and a power driver's seat. There are even provisions for an upgraded stereo system (the touchscreen radio may need servicing, and it connects to an upgraded speaker system.) But even with all these features, your favorite parts are all about what keeps the Corvette such a great driver's car. And the upgraded gauges on the A-pillar remind you there's something extra special under the hood.
The C5 was the debut of LS-based power in the Corvette, and we now all know how these are great powerplants that love upgrades. So while the fuel-injected 5.7-liter LS1 made a nice 375 horsepower from the factory, that didn't mean the fellas at Lingenfelter were satisfied. That's why they created a twin-turbo version. It also has a FAST intake, LPE air grabber, and an upgraded dual exhaust. The full package is rated at 650 horsepower. And the methanol injection system is said to get it up to a whopping 700 horsepower! The desirable six-speed manual transmission gives you firm control and an upgraded clutch that feels like it's built for big power. This is backed up by the Corvette's fully independent sports suspension, grippy sport tires, and upgraded Baer four-wheel power disc brakes.
This is the C5 with added power and pedigree. Rarely does a Corvette this special come up for sale. Call today!!!
