With a new electric Hummer model released, do you hanker instead for one of the original Hummers? At MotoeXotica Classic Cars, we present one of the full-size Hummer H2 models that was on sale more than 15 years ago. The H2 SUV was built by AM General under contract with General Motors at AM General Military Assembly Plant in Mishawaka, Indiana.
This example was made in October 2004 and is one 33,140 Hummer H2s made for 2005. The black paint is in very good overall condition with only normal road wear showing. The paint shines brilliantly and looks beautiful! Visible paint blemishes on right top hood. The front and rear bumpers are both in great and have multiple towing points too! There is a chrome brush guard on the front that looks great along with the chrome grille. The SUV is also equipped with a luggage rack which looks great. Overall, this Hummer shows beautifully! It rolls on Kumho Road Venture light truck tires, size 315/70R17 at every corner.
The tires are in overall very good order while the factory, seven-spoke alloy wheels are in overall very good shape, too. Spare wheel and tire included not mounted.
Under the hood is a Vortec 6000 6.0L overhead valve, V-8 engine with two valves per cylinder (code LQ4) and making 325 horsepower. Backing this motor is an electronically-controlled four-speed automatic transmission (code 4L65-E) and a 4.10:1 rear end.
Driver convenience features are plentiful, as expected tri-zone electronic climate control, power steering, power four-wheel disc brakes, cruise control, power windows, power locks, power sideview mirrors, eight-way power and heated front and rear seats, intermittent wipers and leather-wrapped steering wheel with tilting column. Other goodies include a sunroof and foglights. Stereo has been upgraded with dev player up front. The heated black leather seats are in great condition and only show minimal wear to the driver\'s seat from getting in and out of the SUV. This H2 also includes the optional third row seating. The carpet and headliner are also in great condition, showing no signs of imperfection. The center console looks great, and all gauges are in good working order as well as the headlights, blinkers, horn and wipers. The mirrors and windows are both power and work fine. The tri-zone climate control A/C blows cold and works fine. There are also factory Bose speakers. The Hummer H2 is based on a modified GMT820 GM three-quarter-ton pickup truck in the front and a half-ton 1500 frame in the rear.
Competition to this Hummer in 2005 included BMWs X5, Cadillacs Escalade, Chevrolets Tahoe, Fords Expedition, GMCs Yukon, Infinitis QX56, Lincolns Navigator, Mercedes-Benzs G500, Nissans Armada and Toyotas Sequoia. If youre looking for another Hummer to replace one you had to give up or if youve always wanted one, stop by MotoeXotica Classic Cars today and check out this H2 before it goes home with someone else.
This truck is currently located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the odometer shows 97,346 miles. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title.
