This 1997 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab represents a versatile pickup that has just crossed the vintage vehicle threshold. So you get a loaded and sharp-looking classic pickup that's also a useful fuel-injected machine.
Olympic White is a great color for a pickup like this. It has a timeless appeal, especially with details like the full-length pinstripe. And it is also one of the best colors that doesn't show dirt and dings from a day out playing. This has just crossed the 25-year threshold, and that makes it a true vintage vehicle in many states. So it's nice to see this new class of classic truck keep a stock style. But there are also the right additions. Extra polish on the grille and rockers go well with the bright alloys. And it stays a true useful pickup with a bed liner and a modern trailer hitch receiver.
The red interior looks good against the white paint. It has the right look for a ruck that you're actually going to use. And there are even some nice details like the good headliner, smooth dash under the protective mat, and the door lights still greet you when you open up this pickup. This is loaded with the best features, like power windows, power locks, cup holders, a fold-down front armrest, a tilt steering column, dual front airbags, an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth, and provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) A truck like this is very practical with a full back seat for added passengers and/or secure storage. And this is even the later model with the passenger half door to make access even easier.
One of the big reasons you want a more modern classic pickup is under the hood. After all, modern fuel-injected power on the 5.7-liter V8 is an advantage we all want. While it's unknown if the odometer reflects the full actual mileage, it runs with the confidence of a properly maintained fuel-injected machine. Plus, power steering, power brakes w/ABS, and front discs give a great everyday driver feel. And the cruise control and four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive make it a true long hauler.
This Silverado is all about verticality. It never tries to be something fancy, but that's not what a true truck is about. It's the right classic for those who want something distinctive that also still can do the chores and tow the toys. Call today!!!
