This 2001 Chevrolet Corvette is a well-preserved and low-mileage coupe. But more than just a respected classic, you're going to love it for how this is loaded with the right factory options and a few expensive upgrades that make all the difference.
Quicksilver Metallic is a cool color with timeless appeal. It also always looks great when this finish retains a glossy shine that loves to highlight the slippery curves of the C5. The hidden headlights allow for the low and aerodynamic front end; the sides combine the functional fender fends into a graceful and sporty line; and the rear has a subtle tapering to add extra emphasis to the rear wheels where the rubber meets the road. And speaking of the wheels/tires, the polished factory alloys look great as they somehow shine even brighter than the paint. It's all part of the style you get on a well-preserved coupe that has averaged less than 1,500 miles annually.
The window sticker tells us that the dual roof panel option was here from day one. So you can choose between a color-matched targa top or a glass one. Of course, the best way to enjoy this Corvette is with no roof at all. That's because the black leather interior looks so cool against the silver exterior - especially with the deeply tinted window coordinating with the inside. A proper corvette is not only sporty, but also it's comfortable. So it comes loaded with all the best features, including leather seats, power windows, power locks, keyless entry/alarm, dual airbags, rear defogger, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system. The driver's seat power adjusts, and the leather-wrapped steering wheel is on a tilt column. So you get an excellent view of the gauges. But you're always going to know the best information without ever taking your eyes off the road thanks to the desirable heads-up display option. You may have also noticed the AM/FM radio upgrade with USB and Bluetooth. It's your gateway to a full subwoofer stereo system upgrade. So this one is terrific to take off the roof, crank up your favorite music, and go for a drive.
Under the hood is the LS1 V8. This 5.7-liter fuel-injected powerhouse established a whole new reputation for the Corvette's performance, so you love to see the numbers-matching motor so well presented here. It is clean, tidy, and shows off the cold air intake that lets it inhale deeper. It's a powerful motor that loves to show off its performance ability when combined with the fully independent sports suspension, four-wheel power disc brakes w/ABS, and grippy Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. But don't forget that this coupe is great for all-around driving. So the four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, power steering, plenty of trunk space, and cruise control make this great for the grand tour, too.
The sale comes complete with the original window sticker and full owner's manual packet, including video. This is the sports car that's preserved where you want it and upgraded in all the right places. Call today!!!
