\"Cars that the neighbors can hear before they see you coming around the corner are few and far between these days, but the 2020 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack 392 is definitely one of them!\" viCARiousmagazine.com, November 2020
\"Between the color, special Scat Pack decals, and Shaker hood scoop, once people do lay their eyes on it, they will have a hard time looking away until they take it all in. But the real attraction of the Challenger Scat Pack 392 is out of sight a 6.4-litre SRT HEMI V8. As mentioned, it is loud and has the figures to back up the growl 485 horsepower and 475 ft-lb of torque. All of that goes through the rear wheels on the Challenger, with (a 6-speed manual) transmission managing it all quite well.\"
Offered here in Gold Rush metallic over black is a 2020 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 50th Limited Edition. This spectacular car is virtually new and completely pristine, with fewer than 75 total miles on the odometer. It is one of only 70 produced in this color, and only one of seven made with a manual gearbox! Motor Trend reviewer, Aaron Gold, put the car\'s appeal this way: \"What I like about the Challenger is the fact, of all of today\'s modern muscle cars, it best bridges the gap between old and new.\" (Read the entire review here: https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/2020-dodge-challenger-rt-scat-pack-test-drive/)
The car\'s factory window sticker showing the Challenger\'s many standard, optional, and unique features is included in the sale, and can be viewed in the accompanying photo gallery. The car was delivered new at Rydell Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram in San Francisco.
Even without its engine music (be sure to sample it in the accompanying short startup-and-walkaround video) the combination of the Challenger\'s flared-fender, wide-body style, black grilles, matte-black hood with shaker intake, matte-black roof and rear-deck combines with the Gold Rush body paint for a head-turning muscle-car statement. (To best assess the pristine quality of the paint and chrome finish, be sure to view the close-up photographs of the car in the accompanying gallery.) All the special details-the ground-effects front spoiler, \"Challenger50\" and \"R/T\" grille emblems, chrome hood pins, the discreet front fender \"Scat\" emblems, black gas-filler cap, black trunk-lid spoiler, \"Challenger50\" rear-deck badge-add interest and uniqueness. Even front lighting lenses feature the stylized \"50\" logo. Factory 20-inch, 10-spoke 50th Anniversary wheels showcase the Brembo brake calipers and rotors. The wheels are mounted with Pirelli PZero 305/35 Z-rated summer performance tires.
Special 50th Anniversary Edition touches make for a very appealing interior. Black Nappa leather seat upholstery with Alcantara inserts and sepia stitching feature gold-embroidered 50th Anniversary logos on the front headrests. The multi-function sport steering wheel wears a Dodge-performance center emblem and fronts a retro-design, white-faced analog instrument cluster with digital screen. (The instrument-centers wear multiple tiny \"50\" logos.) The large, infotainment touch screen is located on the center dash above the HVAC controls; a \"Challenger50\" numbered emblem faces the front passenger. The black-leather-trimmed center console hosts the shift lever for the 6-speed manual transmission. Black carpeting covers the floors with \"50\"-identifed mats. (Be sure to check the window sticker for the full list of interior amenities.)
Under the hood, the 392-cubic-inch STR Hemi engine is identified with \"Powered by SRT\"-imprinted black valve covers, body-color-painted Shaker air intake, and free-flow air filter. As with every surface on the entire car, the engine bay is pristine, unmodified, and sparkling. Viewed from below, the chassis is likewise completely new in condition and appearance. Nothing is out of place.
While the more than 170 high-definition photographs and the short walk-around-and-startup video available on the GarageKeptMotors website showcase this 2020 Challenger in detail from every angle, including from b
