This 2000 Ford Mustang is a low-mileage and loaded modern classic that has the all-around appeal of a solid fuel-injected coupe.
This generation of pony car is becoming quite desirable. The New Edge cars were the last ones to set a new styling mark before the retro Mustangs came in. So as this one approaches the quarter-century mark we\'re going to find this to be a true classic with the last of the original styling. That\'s why it\'s nice to find a well-preserved example like this. The Performance Red paint appears to be the original factory application. It has the look of better care and less use that comes from averaging only about 1,300 miles annually. Overall, there\'s a straight and clean appearance that shows it\'s a quality coupe from the first glance. And there are also some great sporty details, like the rocker stripes, rear spoiler, and a bright set of 15-inch alloys.
Just like the exterior, the gray interior has a stock, clean, and overall quality appearance. This coupe has all the features you really want, like power windows, power locks, keyless entry/anti-theft, dual airbags, ABS, cup holder center console, power steering, electric rear defogger, and cold-blowing air conditioning. And the stereo is the premium Mach 460 system with AM/FM/cassette and separate CD. The steering wheel has a grippy sports car feel while also keeping modern features like cruise control. And it\'s mounted on a tilt column to give you a great view of the full gauge package with large speedo and tach.
Under the hood is the correct 3.8-liter V6 motor. There are some of you out there who believe a Mustang needs a V8, but this fuel-injected powerplant is legendary for its hardy nature. So it will never make you miss the other motors. It delivers a nice wallop of power, especially because you have full control with a five-speed manual transmission. Plus, an updated exhaust, four-wheel power disc brakes, and a nice set of Goodyear tires add to the sporty feeling on the road.
There\'s a nice feeling of care in this coupe, right down to the ultra-clean undercarriage photos. It makes for a terrific way to celebrate the last of an original pony. Call today!!!
