1 ASPEN RD.
SALEEN, the name is synonymous with power, speed, and beauty. Founded in 1983, Saleen has been modifying Mustangs into rolling works of art with excellent performance for over 35 years. The gorgeous Zinc Yellow example you see here is easily one of the finest, if not THE finest example of an S281SC you could ever hope to find!! Under the hood of this stallion is an all aluminum 4.6L SOHC 281CI V-8 modified with a Saleen engineered aluminum intake manifold and an Eaton roots type blower sitting on top. Feeding pressurized air through a front mounted air to water intercooler, this setup makes 365hp, over one hundred more than a stock 2002 Mustang GT. Connected to a close ration 5-speed manual transmission with short throw shifter and excellent clutch feel, this Saleen is good for 0-60 sprints in the 5 second range and quarter mile sprints of 13.8 seconds. This is no one trick pony however, this awesome Mustang is just as capable at turning the corners thanks to a Saleen Racecraft suspension, sticky 18 rubber wrapped around beautiful chrome Saleen wheels, and powerful four wheels disc brakes to reign in all those horses. The exterior of this S281SC is just as custom as the mechanicals. A Saleen body kit adds a custom front fascia, lower door sill panels with rocker extensions, side scoops, rear bumper cover, and three piece deck lid spoiler. This convertible has the full speedster kit, with painted fiberglass tonneau cover and roll bar. Saleen graphics and emblems complete the look. Inside are custom painted panels, a dual guage pod on top of the instrument panel, leather seats, full power options, and factory AM/FM CD stereo. This Saleen is in excellent condition reflecting the low miles on the odometer, and is THE actual show car that Saleen displayed at the 2002 New York Auto show. How much better could it get? Hurry in quick, because this sweet Stang' won't be here long. Contact [email protected] or stop into our showroom today!!
