Event Dates: June 22, 2014 - June 22, 2014 Location: Sayreville, New Jersey
RJC Charities, Inc. will be holding their fourth annual Car Show Fundraiser at Sayreville War Memorial High School on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 9 A.M to 3 P.M, with Sunday, June 29, 2014 as the rain date.
This will be a charity event for Lucas Kruse. Lucas is a 14 year old boy who is diagnosed with Chari, Malformation of the brain, Mitral Valve Prolapse, & Gastro Paresis. The list of conditions and medical issues that has accumulated throughout Lucas’s life is long. He loves sports, balloons, and going for car rides.
We expect this year’s show to be even bigger and better than our previous years, with 300 cars and 1,300 to 1,500 people. This event will be held in the west wing parking lot of the Sayreville War Memorial High School. Currently we have commitments of participation from the Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club and The GTO Car Club of New Jersey, and we are working hard to get many more cars to attend this event. The show is being sponsored by RJC Charities, Inc.
We are planning several additional fundraising efforts during our car show. While there is no admission fee to the event, there is a $5.00 donation for each car that has pre-registered for the event and a $10 donation for those who register on the day of the show. We will be holding a 50/50 drawing as well as many gift raffles, with all proceeds going directly to the Kruse family. The 50/50 is a licensed raffle within the State of New Jersey.
This is where we need your help. We are currently in the process of collecting donation items for our raffles. Any donation you can make is greatly appreciated. In the past, we have received gift certificates, merchandise donations and cash donations from various local merchants as well as from large corporations. Anything you can contribute will help us help Lucas!
