CLASSIC CAR CRUISE
Join us for a Classic Car Cruise / Parade
WHEN: Thursday, August 20th, 2020 at 5:30pm
WHO: Classic Car Owners, Family, Friends, Volunteers and Community Members
WHY: Our residents love classic cars and greatly miss seeing their family, friends and neighbors due to Covid -19 restrictions. This is just a fun evening intended to bring joy to the residents in these care communities.
Where: We will start our cruise at 5:30pm with a 5:15 pm lineup at the Sacred Heart Church in Waseca. We will drive through the Lake Shore Inn parking lot, by Latham Place and to Janesville and past Whispering Creek about 5:45pm.
Route: The Police Department will lead the parade and help direct traffic
1) 5:15pm Meet at Sacred Heart Church Parking Lot (4th Street NW and Elm)
2) 5:25 the Waseca Police Department will lead us down W Elm Ave
3) Take right on 8th St. and Cruise past Lake Shore Inn Parking Lot
4) Take a left in lot to and drive past Latham Place
5) Turn around and to exit lot and taking a right onto Elm Street
6) Drive on old 14 or Cty Rd 14 west towards Janesville
7) The Janesville Police Department will meet and lead the Car Cruise through Janesville
8) Take right on Owen Street (This is at entrance to town)
9) Turn left on 390th Ave or East North Street
10) Cruise slowly past Whispering Creek

Rules:
• Everyone must remain in their vehicles. No one is allowed to come close to our residents.
• If your windows are down you must remain 6ft away from the vehicle in front of you.
• Drive slow & Feel free to make signs with messages for our residents or share information about your car
