5th Annual LMTE Boosters Car Show

The Line Mountain Technology Education Boosters is hosting their 5th Annual Car Show on Saturday, May 2nd, 2020. We had 179 cars register at our 4th annual show and we want this year to be an even bigger success. This show is unique because it is run by students enrolled in the technology education courses within the Line Mountain School District. They design the t-shirts, make the banners and design and manufacture our famous trophies.
This years show features 17 classes. We will be giving away trophies to the top three vehicles in each class. The trophies are unique and made by the students at Line Mountain. Peoples Choice and Best of Show will also be awarded with each also receiving $100 cash. Best of show will be featured on our 6th Annual T-Shirts. The rain date is the following day, Sunday, May 3rd. Voting will be done by participants only. All spectators may vote on the Peoples Choice award.
All proceeds from this show go directly to the Technology Education department. We are currently in the process of creating a STEM Design and Innovation Lab, which will be ready for the 2020-2021 school year. We have secured a $10,000 grant, and with the proceeds of this years show, should be able to implement this classroom with zero cost to the school district.
There will be food and drinks available. We have paved parking and indoor restrooms for participants and spectators.
