Napa Filters is proud to present to you the 48th Annual International Edsel Club Convention held at the Best Western Resort in Portage WI July 20-23, 2016. This event will have the largest display of Edsel automobiles in the world on Saturday July 23 on the front lawn of the Best Western Hotel. Other activities will be held in the area with Edsel Club Members including an Edsel Invasion at the A&W in Portage on Wednesday night July 20, a tour of the WW2 History Museum in downtown Portage on Thursday morning July 21 and a cruise to the Big Sky Drive In on Hwy 16 north of Portage Thursday night to name a few, other activities are also being held in the Wis Dells area at Lost Canyon and the Upper Dells Boat Trips. Friday morning the 1st ever Edsel Olympics will be held in the Point Cross Church parking lot adjacent to the Best Western Hotel where drivers of the Edsel automobile will compete in an obstacle course type events with their cars to see who car handle them best. Friday night will include the Live Band "Night Tracks" in the parking lot of the Best Western Hotel along with a hospitality party. Saturdays Grand Showcase of cars will be all day at the Hotel with the awards banquet being held Saturday night July 23. This event is being sponsored by Napa Filters of Stevens Point WI, Midland Plastics of New Berlin WI, Lidtke Lincoln of Beaver Dam WI, McLaughlin Auto Sales of Friendship WI, and numerous Portage WI area businesses such as Culvers, Dairy Queen, Jimmie Johns and Kwik Trip. So if you have an Edsel and want to show it off join the IEC and their event, all Edsel cars are welcome, so push, pull, drag, drive or trailer your car, be it stock, modified, restoration in progress or fresh from the woods to the Best Western in Portage Wi.
