Farewell To Summer Car Cruise For Charity

On Saturday, September 24, the Red Oak Diner & Lounge will host the ‘Farewell To Summer’ Car Cruise For Charity. The event will be held from 5-8 p.m. in the back parking lot of the diner and is free and open to the public. All classes of vehicles are welcome. There will be prizes for the best cars along with live music and dinner & drink specials. Registration fees are $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the event. The charitable beneficiary is Friends Feeding Families, a non-profit organization which operates a food pantry in the First United Methodist Church in Belford, N.J. Checks should be made payable to Friends Feeding Families.
