RJC Charities will be holding a car show fundraiser on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 10:00AM to 03:00 PM at the Flemington Department Store 151 State Route 31 Flemington, NJ 08822. We have a rain date set on Sunday, June 02, 2019. This year’s charity event is being held to support Darren McCaughey.
Darren has been involved with the stock car racing community all of his life. First as fan then as a self-employed marketing, announcer, and writer for over 40 years. November 23, 2018 Jeff went to the ER missing his first ever Turkey Derby at Wall Stadium in 47 years. He had congestive heart failure, which led to pneumonia and sepsis. Jeff is on his road to recovery, however spending 81 days in the hospital with no income and his wife unable to work while he was in ICU, we at RJC Charities are having a Fundraiser for Jeff and his wife Elaine. Jeff has always been there for everyone, and now it’s time to be there for him. Please join us and make this a successful event for Jeff.
Pre-registration is still only $5 per vehicle and $15 day of the show registration. Viewing is free to the general public. The first 50 Pre-registered cars and motorcycles will receive a goodie bag. Cars and motorcycles should arrive by 3:00 PM. Judging and trophies will be provided for cars and motorcycles. Food will be available for purchase and there will be tricky trays and 50/50’s with proceeds going to both charities.
