POPULARITY OF EVENT LEADS TO CONFIRMED 2ND ANNUAL 2019 EVENT
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – More than 30,000 auto enthusiasts from around the globe came out to rev their engines at the inaugural Exotics on Las Olas (EOL)—Broward County’s first-ever event showcase of 250 of the rarest, most luxurious, and coveted automobiles from around the world on Las Olas Boulevard on November 10, 2019.
“It was fantastic to see car enthusiasts and the public get up close and personal with this curated collection of cars and that they could interact with car collectors and innovators in auto craftsmanship,” said Floyd Rag, founder, and events director of Exotics on Las Olas. “I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve confirmed Exotics on Las Olas for 2019, to take place again in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale.”
The event kicked off with the National Anthem sung by South Florida-grown Jessie Lee, a country music singer who you probably know best for picking TEAM BLAKE on NBC’s “The Voice” this past season. There was also a military color guard that presented the flags and a flyover by a coastguard helicopter during the opening ceremonies.
As part of the first annual EOL showcase, Orange County Choppers (OCC)—the world leader in handcrafted American-made motorcycles—unveiled its first-ever retail line of bikes, the ‘Senior’ Series, with OCC’s Paul Teutul Sr. onsite for the milestone debut, providing EOL attendees the first opportunity to preview and purchase these never before seen, limited edition bikes. A percentage of OCC bike sales onsite at the event were donated to the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund.
The inaugural EOL was produced in coordination with the inaugural Florida Exotic Car Weekend and presented in partnership by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Las Olas Association.
Various EOL 2018 event partners included Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale, Lamborghini Broward, McLaren Palm Beach, Holman Lauderdale Imports Rolls-Royce, Holman Lauderdale Imports Aston Martin, Fort Lauderdale Collection, duPont Registry, Koenigsegg Florida, ICON Aircraft, The Creative Workshop, TR3 Performance, and Haute Living. Among the vast array of cars on display included a Bugatti Veyron, Bugatti Chiron, McLaren P1, Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari LaFerrari, Ferrari 330, Ferrari F50, Lykan HyperSport, Fenyr SuperSport, Koenigsegg, Duesenberg, and Pagani. Tom and Bubba of the legendary Bubba’s Exotic Motorsports will also be onsite joining OCC’s Teutul Sr. for the exclusive ‘Senior’ Series bike unveiling, and its Palm Beach Garden location has partnered with OCC to serve as a local hub for sales and distribution of the limited-edition bikes.
