Children's Book Run Rally

The Children's Book Run will be a charity road rally benefiting the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. It will be staged on 08 December 2018, and will start at the Pack Automotive Museum, 2070 Diplomat Dr, Farmers Branch, TX 75234. While waiting to register, browse the hundreds of gorgeous old and/or significant cars in the Pack collection. This museum is not open to the public, so don't miss this opportunity!....We are not raising money for Scottish Rite, but collecting children's books for them in time for Christmas. Each person in the car should contribute two books, for any age child. Last year we collected over 200 books for them....Two people who can read are required in each rally car, but passengers are welcome. Any 4-wheel, street-legal vehicle may compete. This is not a speed event, but a fun drive on all paved roads. You will have some tasks to perform along the way, which will earn you points toward a trophy. GPS and smart phones are welcome, but you can do just fine without them....You must preregister at http://msreg.com/CBR18 in order to enter. The entry fee is $30 per car (SCCA members get a $5 discount). More information will be found at the above website.
