Firebirdfest

This is a four day family oriented event. Activities include a poker run, laps on World Wide Technology Raceway NASCAR Track. Two concerts, Fridays concert features Nate Burnham and his song Firebird along with 15 year old phenom Ruby Leigh. Friday evening is a special showing of Smokey and the Bandit at Skyview Drive In in Belleville, IL. Saturday includes laps at WWTR, a carshow and evening concert featuring Mudbone and Black Sabath Tribute band. Sunday we will wrap things up with a drive through at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetary to pay tribute to our fallen veterans and a trip to Grants Farm. Sheriff Buford T Justice, his son Junior and the Bandit will be with us all weekend long. Snowman may even make an appearance with his rig depending on if he has a load of manure to haul that weekend. This is also a major fund raiser for our chosen charity Song Society that teaches kids with terminal and life altering illnesses to write their own original songs and to play musical instruments as a way to take their minds off of their situation.
