Christmas in July = Shoot the Loop

This is an open show that is part of a large Christmas in July block party. Held on a Friday evening, from 4 - 9 p.m., attendees will be able to "Shoot the Loop" in their cars, "Shoe the Loop" with a 5K or a Fun Walk, or "Shop the Loop" with the Downtown Marion Market, stores & restaurants.

Car Show registration is from 4 - 6 p.m.; show is 6 - 9 p.m.; cars will be able to drive the loop after 7:30 p.m. Location: in the heart of downtown Marion at the corner of South Prospect and West Church Streets. Cost: $10 ... $20 if you'd like a shirt (XXL and larger are $2 or $3 more). Dash plaques, trophies.

Proceeds will be used to help purchase new Christmas decorations for Marion's Downtown.
