Cars for Kids Automobile Show

Supported by the Litchfield Hills Historical Automobile Club, the 13th Annual Cars for Kids Automobile Show will be held at CJR in Litchfield, 550 Goshen Road.



Gates open for show cars at 8 AM. Entries are $15 per car. Dashboard plaques will be given to the first 100 paid registrants and exhibitor gift bags to the first 200 paid registrants. Judging will be from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM and more than 20 trophies will be awarded at 2:30 PM. Spectator parking opens at 10 AM. Admission is $5 per adult with a maximum of $10 per car.



Breakfast sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecued chicken sandwiches and hot and cold beverages will be sold. A scrumptious, signature bake sale will be conducted by the Litchfield Aid of CJR.



Children and families will enjoy farm tours and hay rides. Visitors may purchase eggs, chrysanthemums and produce, including, pumpkins, gourds and squash grown by students, at CJR’s roadside Farm Market. Products from other vocational classes, including culinary arts, welding, woodshop, fine and creative arts, and automotive technology will also be featured.



Proceeds from this event will support CJR’s care, treatment and education services for children, youth and families in locations throughout the state.
