Hot Rides & Hot Air Balloons at the Balloon Festival

The Warren County Hot Air Balloons, Fun and Games Festival runs September 21 & 22, at the Warren Community College, 475 Route 57, Washington NJ. The Hot Rides & Hot Air Balloons Car & Truck Show will be held on Saturday, September 21 of the event. Organizers are looking for participants. Preregister for $15, up until September 16, or take a ride out the day of the event and register for $20. Participants and their riders will have free admission and access to the balloon festival.

The show will feature all types of cars - classic, muscle, sport, exotic & custom, antiques & more are all welcomed. Registration is between 1-2 pm. The festival runs from 2pm to 8pm with food trucks, vendors, music, children’s entertainment and a variety of balloon activity.

The car show will feature music by the legendary Doc South, from 1-4 pm. The awards ceremony will be held at 5:00 pm. Trophies will be awarded for the Top 10 Driver’s Choice Awards, Best in Show Judged and a People’s Choice Award. (Car Show on a paved lot.)

Proceeds to Benefits the Fred T Grotenhuis Veterans Community Center project, out outdoor fitness to be installed in Fred’s home town of Harmony NJ by the end of 2024. Money from the registration fees go towards this project. Fred was a lifelong resident of Harmony Township and organizer of the original balloon festival in Warren County, at the Warren County Farmers’ Fair. He served in the US Army and flew helicopter in Vietnam.
