Long time Friendship, NY resident Fordus(Ford) Easton who grew up in Friendship, NY in the 40's and 50's and now lives in St. Petersburg, FL has written a book titled "Stock Car racing in the '50s" with pictures and memories of those involved in WNY and NWPA racing. The book covers 48 tracks that operated during the period in the two areas of NY and PA. The book also includes many stories and information with photos of the drivers and their cars in action during those exciting days of stock car racing many of us remember with such fond memories from years ago.

Mr. Easton will introduce his book and talk about the early days of stock car racing which historically helped lay the groundwork for NASCAR racing. Mr. Easton will have copies of his book available for purchase for $15.
