The 7th Annual Howl & Scream Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show

***The Event***
Join BGV Motorsports on Saturday, October 12 for the 2019 (7th Annual) Howl & Scream Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show at Hawthorn Mall (located in the Old Sears Auto Center Lot at 2 Hawthorn Center, Vernon Hills, IL), sponsored by David Boyd Farmers Insurance. Gates open at 9 am. Show vehicle registration is from 10 am - 12 noon. Enjoy music by BGV Motorsports and food and refreshments will be available onsite for purchase by Sbarro of Hawthorn Mall.
***Vehicle Owners and Community Spectators***
All cars, trucks, motorcycles, and vehicle clubs are welcome. Vehicle owners are welcome to dress up in Halloween costumes, dress up their vehicles, and are encouraged to bring candy to pass out for trunk-or-treating. The car show vehicle entry fee is $15.00.
This family-friendly event is free for community spectators and most vehicles will be in place for community viewing by 11:30 am. Children and families are welcome to participate in trunk-or-treating and the adult and children's costume contests. Costume awards will be given away at approximately 2:45 pm.
***The Event Charities***
In partnership with the Vernon Hills Police Department, the event will be accepting coats for Midwest Veterans Closet and non-perishable food for the Vernon Township Food Pantry.
***Awards for the Vehicle Owners and Community***
Enjoy Dash Plaques for the first 75 vehicles, registration cards, sponsored by David Boyd Farmers Insurance, along with 40 "Top Howler" Awards.
Awards will be given out at approximately 2:45 pm and will include:
