Everyone is invited to spend the day at the 29th annual show in downtown Powell. This is a nice cozy show held in the downtown streets and parking lots with street rods and collectable cars. Throughout the years we had some unique entries including a 1950’s Greyhound Bus,a restored Chris Craft wood boat, Short Cut High a 500 HP school bus, a famous hemi powered pulling tractor, a dual engine S-10 pick-up and a 917 Porsche plus 100’s of beautiful cars. Starting at noon, the DJ starts, and plenty of food from the downtown restaurants. 100% of the proceeds of this show are donated to groups like the Powell-Liberty Historical Society, the Ohio Crime Victims Justice Center, People in Need(PIN), (2) Olentangy School Scholarships thru the Delaware Foundation, “Honor Flight” and many more with support from you and the Powell / DT Sertoma Club. You gotta want to help one of these groups!
At 3:00 PM, awards, plaques and trophies from the sponsors, Best of Show, Major's, Fire Fighter's, and Police Department’s Choice and Best of show trophies. Dash plaques to the first 150 cars. Come spend the day in downtown Powell! Food, fun and music plus some beautiful collectable, street rods and antique cars, to see thru-out the day. You can shop at the specialty gift and antique stores or dine in the many restaurants in Powell. Judging of the cars will start at 1:00 PM. Trophies will be presented at 3:00 PM. And the mega millions, plus or minus, 50/50 drawing after the trophies are presented. We're not as big as the Good Guys show, but we have more fun. Everyone is welcome, call your cousins and make this a family reunion. 100% of the profits are donated to various charities. To date the Powell Sertoma / DT Columbus Cub has raised and donated over $900,000!!
If your husband of wife gets tired of looking at cars, give them the credit card and send them shopping at one of the downtown shops.
