1965-1966 Full Size Chevy Club International Meet

The 1965-1966 Full Size Chevrolet Club announces its 2017 Convention and International Meet in Hibbing, Minnesota July 9th – 14th. The convention will include a special car show for Hibbing and surrounding area residents on July 12th, plus several car club caravan cruise trips to historic area institutions and companies. Visitors from around the United States and Canada will attend. The public is invited to participate, including entry of their 1965 or 1966 full size Chevrolet automobile in the show. Registration deadline for the convention is May 31st.



Each day immaculately preserved 1965-1966 Chevrolet automobiles will caravan to destinations where Chevy Muscle will truly meet Minnesota iron. Planned caravan stops pay tribute to northern Minnesota’s historic roll in America’s iron mining industry. Caravan destinations include the Hibbing Historical Society, Soudan Mine, Hibbing High School (spectacularly unique and on the Registry of Historic Places), a visit to an active Taconite mine, a special visit to the Zeigler/CAT mining equipment maintenance facility, a stop at the Greyhound Bus Origin Museum, and a special cruise to Embarrass, Minnesota – the “Coldest spot in the lower 48”.
