The Museum offers special tours every Second Saturday of the month at 2pm. A new topic is featured every month! Free with Museum Admission.
The tour on May 9 will feature Daring Young Men: Their Bicycles and Flying Machines! Learn about early inventors, players, and dreamers in modes of transportation from the middle of the 19th century and into the 21st century.
Figures such as the Studebakers, the Dodge brothers, Henry Ford, Herbert Austin and more will be featured. The tour will be led by knowledgeable and enthusiastic docent, Gene Blackmun.
The Second Saturday Tour Series at the California Automobile Museum is an opportunity for visitors to hear unique and fresh topics from the automobile world. Our volunteer docents lead the tours, and as they choose their own favorite topics and do extensive research, you are sure to have an enjoyable time! If you are a member or have been to the museum before, this is a great reason to come back again: no two tours are the same, discover something new!
