Everyone’s favorite car show returns to Southern California at Galpin Motors, home to some of the world’s leading automotive brands, including the #1 Volume Ford dealership in the world and the famous Galpin Auto Sports (GAS). It’s 6 cars shows in 1 – and it’s all happening Sunday Oct. 7 in Los Angeles.
In just seven years, the Galpin Car Show has grown into one of the biggest car shows for both entrants and spectators, covering the entirety of the iconic Galpin campus with thousands of different vehicles and activations. Attendees of this year’s event can expect an up-close and personal experience with exceptional cars, including the world-famous Gypsy Rose Impala lowrider and the custom coach-built coupe named “Black Pearl,” owned by Metallica front man James Hetfield.
Other notable cars slated to appear include the Speed Racer Mach 4, a Smokey and the Bandit Trans-Am, Herbie the Love Bug, a Bōsōzoku car and the Petersen Museum’s 1925 “Round Door” Rolls Royce, among others. Additionally, the Galpin collection will be on display including an impressive number of Shelby mustangs and several Ford GTs that you are unlikely to see anywhere else.
For the first time ever at the Galpin Car Show guests will have the chance to visit the exciting Lowrider “Hop Off,” featuring hopping cars for the duration of the day that will allow for opportunities to raise money for the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission. Other charity initiatives will include a silent auction.
Free and open to the public, the Galpin Car Show will also offer fun activities the entire family can enjoy, such as carnival games, a ‘paint-the-truck’ experience, live entertainment, fresh GAS merchandise, delicious food and more.
