1st Annual Purdue University Calumet Auto Show. RAIN DATE: September 20th. The show was previously cancelled due to bad weather, so this is the makeup date. All makes and models are welcome including bikes. There are four classes: Classic, Modern, Truck, and Bike. Peoples Choice Award will be given for each class. Entry fee is $15 pre-registration or $20 at the door. Spectators are free, and donations are appreciated. Registration starts at 8am and the show begins at 10am. Late entries will still be permitted. Awards are given at 2pm and the show ends at 4pm. Location: 2200 169th Street Hammond, IN 46323. Food vendors are still being determined. *No alcohol or smoking is permitted on campus. All proceeds benefit the Purdue Calumet Formula SAE student organization. This group of students are designing, building, and racing a formula one style car in an international student competition.
