I'm a Beer Hound is excited to bring Horsepower and Hops to the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum in Lansing on Saturday, November 1st from 5:00 to 10:00PM. This festival will feature a great brewery, great cidery and a piece of local automobile history.

We felt that R.E Olds Transportation Museum was an overlooked gem of the Lansing area, as it holds thousands of irreplaceable items and over 52 amazing vehicles that range from 1886 to 2003. See the beginning of Oldsmobile with an 1886 steam carriage, enjoy the chrome and brass opulence of the 1906 REO Momma and Baby style carriage, and when you see the 1938 REO Speedwagon fire truck you will hear the bell and imagine men racing down the streets to help a local Lansing resident. Also, marvel at the sleek lines and barely contained power that the 1966 Olds Tornado exhibits.

Enjoy a walk through Lansing automotive history while you enjoy 10 different beers from Atwater Brewery and 10 different hard ciders from Uncle John's Cider Mill. We are excited that attendees will be able to experience a few limited release items from both the brewery and the cidery as well!

With music from local talent Mark Warner and Joe Wright, this will be a feast for the eyes, ears and palette. Paul Starr had this to say, “At all our our festivals, we try to have a great atmosphere and this one will be top notch. It is a gem of a museum that I feel that most Lansing residents under-utilize. This is your opportunity to see what R.E. Olds Transportation Museum is all about while enjoying local cars, beer, music and food.”
