The Easton Veterans Association, is hosting the first annual Thunder in the Valley classic car & bike show, with a swap meet and flea market. On the 4th & 5th of April, 2014 in Easton, Kansas. At the Easton City Park and Veterans Memorial Park here in Easton, to raise funds for local veteran service organizations and veterans in need, as well as the Leavenworth Veterans Memorial and the Easton Veterans Memorial.

Mission of this show:

Show your car and show you care. Motorcycles, too!

To show respect and provide material support for America's veterans.

Showing respect and consideration for the Veterans of the Armed Forces - active or retired; wounded, recovering, injured or aging; at home or under long-term care.

Sharing our love of the automotive hobby with Veterans, their families, their friends and their care-givers through the display of our beloved cars and motorcycles.

Raising the awareness of the general public regarding the concerns of Veterans who might otherwise endure isolation and neglect, if not for the efforts of volunteer outreach programs.

4 April, 2014 3pm to 8pm
Classic Car & Bike Show
Entry Fee for Cars 20 Dollars per entry
Entry Fee for Bikes 10 Dollars per entry
First 200 entries will receive a free T-Shirt

Prizes for entries include:

$500 & Plaque best in show for cars, with runner up receiving a trophy.
$250 & Plaque best in show for bikes, with runner up receiving a trophy.
Door Prize Raffles, available during event.

All proceeds from these entries are going to veterans in need and the memorials.

4 April, 2014 8pm to Midnight
Sock Hop Dance in Front of Memorial
Free to all who attend.

5 April, 2014 8am to 6pm
Swap Meet & Flea Market
Entry Fees for swap meet and flea market vendors is $15 per day or $25 for both days per booth.
All proceeds from booth entries benefit local veterans.

5 April, 2014 at 7pm
Benefit Concert in the City Park
Tickets are $15
All proceeds from this concert benefit local veterans and memorials.
