Saturday in the Park Car & Truck Show

7th Annual Saturday in the Park presented by the Road Apples Car Club at Angell Park in Sun Prairie. The Road Apples have given away over $5000 from the proceeds of Saturday in the Park. Our charities have included the Sun Prairie Food Pantry, the River Food Pantry, the National Lung Cancer Association and more. Our main charity is the Sun Prairie Dream Park located at Angell Park, we\'ve also helped send several Boy Scouts to camp thanks to the funds from the food sales.



The Dream Park is a handicapped accessible playground with a pirate ship, tree forts, fire truck, midget race cars, a sea serpent and a large cave. Funding for the park maintenance is not included in the Sun Prairie city budget and no paid staff takes care of the park, instead it is staffed and maintained by volunteers, therefore every dollar counts to make this park a reality and we have been honored to help make this dream come true for many parents and children in Sun Prairie and beyond.



The show is rain or shine, awards will be presented in 25 classes, with more awards for larger classes. Special awards for the Best GM, Ford & Mopar, along with Best of Show and Club Participation. The Boy Scouts will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, brats & pulled pork, beverages will also be available. Schoeps Ice Cream has generously donated free ice cream for all. Capital Sounds DJ will be back with more great tunes, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle with the Hooters girls round out the event.



Gates open at 7, registration ends at noon. $8 entry fee by June 20, $10 day of show. Awards are presented around 3 p.m.
