This is a festival held in Wilder Idaho the last Saturday of September, you may have heard it previously advertised as the Wilder Harvest Festival or Wilder Fabulous 50's Festival. This year we have decided to hold the festival highlighting Wilder's strong agricultural history and one of the areas leading crops, hops! In true Oktoberfest fashion and sticking with traditions established in Germany many many years ago the opening ceremonies and kickoff are always the last Saturday of September and run through the first week of October.

This years event is a benefit fundraiser for the Wilder Public Library. Recently the library was donated the old fire Wilder station and their hopes are to remodel the facility and create a much bigger and better library and activity center for everyone from youth to elderly ages. With enough funding renovations can begin soon!

We are working closely with the Idaho Hop Growers Association, the City of Wilder and many other individuals and entities to ensure that this years event is nothing short of a success. At this time we are in the middle of planning stages for this years festival and are lining up entertainment, vendors, car show participants and all of the other fun activities we are going to have going on that day. To give you a brief run down, the day starts out with a pancake feed breakfast hosted by the Wilder Rural Fire District, followed by a 5 & 10K run benefiting Wilder Elementary School at 10am, also at 10am vendors open, car show registration begins and the music starts flowing. The day carries on until evening with entertainment, kids activities, beer tastings from local breweries and prizes, awards and raffles throughout the day.

Show cost is $10.00 per vehicle with 100% of the proceeds going to the Wilder Public Library. There will be awards for the best in MANY classes!
