Dance for the Hearts Event

Healing Warrior Hearts and the Starfish Foundation are holding a fundraiser on Saturday May 17 (Armed Forces Day) at American Legion Post 434 in Oak Creek, WI. Proceeds from this event will help provide the Healing Warrior Hearts program which is free to all Veterans.



Dance for the Hearts will begin at 1:00 pm. At 1:30 the American Legion Riders will be doing a special colors ceremony, bringing the flags into the Post on their motorcycles! All bikers are welcome to participate in the opening “ride-in.” DJ James Barnes, Vietnam Veteran, will be playing great music and performing with the crowd .



This is a family friendly event, children are welcome (12 and under free admission). Face painting, clowns, and music all afternoon, followed by an evening of dancing and a Casino fun night. Food vendors, soda/coffee and bar service will be available for purchase.



A live auction will be held at 5 p.m. and some of the items will include a Laptop, Kindle Fire, fur coats, plus much more. Raffles will be held at 3, 4 and 7 p.m. with prizes ranging from gift certificates to restaurants, jewelry, festival tickets, and many other items. Casino fun night will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the grand prize drawing at 9:45 p.m.



Admission to the Dance is $10 at the door (13 years old and over) and includes one raffle ticket.
