The big SPRING meet is the largest annual show for ex-military vehicles (MVs) west of the Mississippi, since the late 1970s! Since 2019 it takes place at the 49er Village RV Resort and adjacent Amador County Fairgrounds in the “old West” town of Plymouth, CA. April 17 through 20, 2024. Yes, ending Saturday night with the annual raffle and dinner. Sunday is a pull out day. No admission or parking fees, no MV registration fee, no vendor fee but all sellers must rent a campsite. RV sites are at the 49er but no tenting there. Tent sites are at the fairgrounds. Visitor parking and trailer storage is at the fairgrounds, gate is at 18343 Empire Street. Anyone with a rented site may sell parts and military collectibles. There will be three themed MV showcases on Friday and Saturday: M38 and M38A1 Jeeps and Variants, M274 Mules, and Big Trucks & Work Vehicles. MV Excursion to a private tour of Knight Foundry, a 19th century water powered machine shop and foundry. Women’s social and offsite lunch/shopping trip. See details and updates on www.MVCCNews.net.
