Fifteenth Annual "CARS FOR CASA" - Sunday - May 17th 2020 The Metro East Division of the Dallas Builders Association and Lone Star CASA are planning the 15th Annual "Cars for CASA" Show. 1st & 2nd Class Awards will be presented for Cars (29 categories), Trucks (5 categories) and Motorcycle (7 categories). Awards also for Best of Show - Car, Truck, and Motorcycle. Your vehicles' will be judged on Best Engine, Best Graphics, Best Paint, Best Interior and Best DBA Members Award. Bring all of your club members as there is also a Club Participation Award. 100% of the proceeds go to "LONE STAR CASA, INC". There will be LOTS of Awards and a food court. Free T-Shirt and dash plaque for the first 50 entries. NEW LOCATION: THE NEW ROCKWALL COUNTY COURTHOUSE - 1111 E. Yellow Jacket Lane in Rockwall (I-30 to Highway 205 and follow the signs) Registration: 10:00am - 1:30pm, Awards @ 4:00pm. The mission of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) is to speak for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the courts. They promote and support quality volunteer representation for children to provide each child a safe, permanent, nurturing home. This Sunday afternoon event has had in excess of four hundred (400) cars participate and approximately three thousand spectators. We are extremely pleased to have raised over $550,000 to date for Lone Star CASA / over $70,000 at the 2019 event. We look forward to this growing into an even bigger event and have set a goal to raise even more for CASA this year.
