July 2/Wylie,TX: The Annual Wylie Bluegrass on Ballard Festival and Classic Car Show in historic downtown Wylie presented by the Wylie Downtown Merchants Association and the City of Wylie. This is a free event that begins at 10 am with arts and crafts vendors in Olde City Park, a chili cook-off, and great food and goes through the evening with Bluegrass bands performing from 3 to 10 pm. The classic car show with over 190+ cars lined up on historic Ballard St. is from 4 to 9PM and is open to ALL makes, models and years. Car entry fee is $20.
