National Historic Site Canada day Car Show

Canada Day Car Show is at the Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site of Parks Canada. The event starts at 2:00pm-6:00pm with trophies and prizes handed out at 6:30pm The event is run and organised by a community volunteer committee. There will be a $10.00 registration fee that goes back into the Non-profit committee for the next years events. There will be prizes for the top 5 favourite cars selected by the peoples choice and registered by name and ballot. We encourage anyone who wants to celebrate their ride to register their car on the day of the event.

Beyond the car show there is a lot more going on that is a lot of fun for the whole family. Such things as, Helicopter rides, magic shows, live concerts, tractor hay rides, a loonie carnival ,bouncy house, face painting, and much more! The night concludes with an impressive firework show. There is no entry fee into the park that day but bring cash for the many food vendors and some of the special events like the helicopter rides. Visitor parking for the event as a whole is on a donation basis and all proceeds go back into the event to keep making is better!

RV Camping, tenting, and Tipi's and trappers tents are also available at the Historic Forts Campground on site!


Details:

This is a peoples choice award. Each visitor is allowed to pick one of their favourite vehicles in the show and cast one ballot. The ballot must have their name and a contact number as we will be drawing their ballots in addition to their car vote for door prizes for the visitors who took the time to vote. This will also help us ensure only one vote per person as they will have to provide proof of identity to claim their prize.
