One of Europe’s most consistently successful auctions, this year’s London sale will lift the gavel on an exceptional series of more than 70 blue-chip automobiles representing the ultimate in elegance, sophistication, rarity and provenance.

With a strong emphasis on important and historic European sports and racing cars, the sale is led by an exceptional roster of more than 20 Ferraris including 12 examples from a private collection in Switzerland. The Ferrari selection is headlined by one of the most significant examples of all time, a 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta Competizione ‘Tour de France’, boasting outstanding period racing history, as well as matching numbers and Ferrari Classiche certification. Additional highlights include a 1964 Shelby 289 Competition Cobra, campaigned by Tom Payne and formerly held in the Shelby American Collection for 25 years, as well as a number of wonderful examples from Alfa Romeo, Bentley, Bugatti, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Rolls-Royce.
