Woronoco Heights Outdoor Adventures (WHOA!) and The Car Club of New England are presenting their first annual car show on Oct 19th from 9-3. All proceeds will benefit the Horace Moses Scout Reservation's improvement projects. The car show is on the same day as the October WHOA! event making it convenient to attend the car show and participate in family outdoor activities.

All makes, years, and models are invited to enter the car show. There is a $20 registration fee to enter a car and includes two passes to participate in WHOA!. There is no charge to spectators to visit the car show, and participation in WHOA! events is only $15 per person, with children under 10 only $10.

Each month from September to June WHOA! presents activities taking advantage of the Scout reservation's 1300 acre acres at 310 Birch hill Rd. in Russell MA, just 20 minutes from I-90 Exit 3

WHOA! has an ever growing list of seasonal activities to present. Many activities are open to children as young as 5 years old. Families will find outdoor programs as well as fun activities indoors with all the equipment provided.

At the lake will be canoes, kayaks, and fishing. Participants looking to get into the forest can try geocaching, mountain biking, orienteering, nature activities, and even our disc golf which has holes down wooded trails.

Those looking to try making something can visit the blacksmith shop and kite making lessons. The kite making activity ends using the usual wind on the mountain a field to see if it fly's.

Just for fun and to try something different WHOA! will also have climbing, bouldering, archery, photography, ham radio, and escape rooms.

The programs with minimum age are the 64 foot climbing tower and Tomahawk Throwing, each with a minimum age of 10 years, and a minimum age of 11 years for the .22 rifles and shotguns.

The entire day is $15 per person, with youth 5 to 9 years $10. Groups of 10 or more are discounted at $10 per person.

Equipment will be provided and activities will be supervised by experienced staff. Each program is available from 9 am until 3 pm and subject to change, especially due to weather conditions. Some programs require signing up for a specific time period. Participants may arrive/leave at any time. Check-in is at the camp's Trading Post where a menu of hot food and snacks will also be for sale.
