The folks at Prairie Lakes are bringing a little bit of country to Sun Prairie. July 14 & 15 the Shoppes at Prairie Lakes will take on a transformation and feature Red Dirt Days. The car show and music festival held right on the Prairie Lakes grounds will feature tons of show cars and motorcycles, ice cold beer and great live music.
July 14 - Red Dirt Days will kick off with the motorcycle and car show from 10 am – 3 pm. Live music will accompany the car and motorcycle show with the stylings of Southbound. Southbound’s energy and sound will create a perfect back drop for the classic cars and motorcycles lined up among the stores at Prairie Lakes. Saturday is free for all spectators and car show entry’s.
July 15 – Be ready for a full day of boot tapping on day two! The second day of Red Dirt Days kicks off at noon with Madison’s own Wheelhouse. Wheelhouse is a national touring Americana and bluegrass band with guitars, fiddle and an upright bass. One of the Madison area’s best country bands - 5th Gear hits the stage at 2pm. 5th Gear has earned quite the following and the bands followers the Gearheads will be out in force for sure. 5th Gear is one of the best country bands in southern Wisconsin. Headliner Jackson Taylor and the Sinners take the stage at 4pm. Since 2001 Jackson Taylor has been one of the most prolific songwriters and recording artists of any genres of music, with over a dozen CD’s and multiple times on Billboard’s 100 Top 100 list. Sunday, the Red Dirt Days music festival until 6 pm and the admission to see the bands is only $10.
