Red, White, & Blue Car Show

This is the 8th edition of the Mexia Lions Club Red, White, & Blue Car Show. We get a little bigger each year and hope to have 100 entries this year. Show parking will open at 7:30 in Downtown Mexia. Contestants may choose where they want to park i.e. with or without shade ( & dirty birds). Registration will be available on site or by email to Bill Matthews- [email protected], Phone 254 625-2546. Pre-registration is $20 with on site registration costing $25. The event web site is not yet set up, but I will update this notice when that is done. Our show also includes tractors & motorcycles. A complete listing of classes will be on the website. We give 1st & 2nd Place trophies for each class and the first 100 entrants get a dash plaque and t-shirt. We also have Kids Choice, Peoples Choice, and Mayor's Choice competitions. Come and stay for the fireworks display that evening. We generally have our awards ceremony around 1:00 and everyone is back on the road by 3.
