It’s time to start your engines and gear up for the 9th Annual Auto Show benefiting the Davie County High School Auto Tech Program on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Trailers of the East Coast in Mocksville, NC.

As in years past, Trailers of the East Coast will partner with the DCHS Auto Tech Program students in hosting an Auto Show that will raise money for the students to participate in the SkillsUSA competition to win scholarships to jump start their future and careers. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry professionals working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.

In its ninth year, the Auto Show continues to grow, attracting gorgeous show cars from across North Carolina. The Auto Show is open to all – whether you have a beauty to show off or you just like to look, dream and drool. The entry fee for participants is $15/car and spectator admission is FREE! The show runs from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. with registration from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. There will be a special award ceremony at 12:15 p.m.

The DCHS Auto Show will feature four classes for judging, including General Motors, Ford Motor Co./Mercury and a Chrysler/Mopar division. Each of those classes will be broken down into judging groups for Early-1975, 1976-1981 and 1981-Present. There will also be a division for Euro, Exotics, Imports, Trucks and Tractors. Special awards for Best of Show, Best Interior, Best Paint, Best Engine, Sponsor’s Choice and People’s Choice will be given out to the top-two in each class.

The famous “Smoke Wagon” BBQ Concession trailer will be on location to serve up a delicious lunch. All Auto Show participants will receive one FREE lunch with their entry.

Thank you in advance for your support of Davie County’s youth and future automotive workforce!
