In conjunction with the Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 Heroes Run at Cooper River Park, Pennsauken, NJ Sunday, September 13, 2015 $10 Car Show/Cruise Entrance Fee day of show registration only. Join us to raise awareness, honor the fallen, and honor the life of Travis Manion. 1st Lt. Travis Manion made the ultimate sacrifice in Iraq. He, his fellow Marines, and Iraqi Army counterparts were ambushed while searching a suspected insurgent house. 1st Lt. Manion led the counterattack against the enemy forces. He was fatally wounded by an enemy sniper while aiding and drawing fire away from his wounded comrades. His selfless actions allowed every member of his patrol to survive. The Travis Manion Foundation continues Travis mission of inspiring selfless service and assisting our nations veterans and families of Fallen Heroes.Visit www.travismanion.org for more information.The 9/11 Heroes Run unites communities with the goal to never forget the sacrifices of the Heroes of September 11th and in the wars since: Veteran, first responder, civilian and military. The 5K Run+ 1M Fun Run/Walk welcomes runners and walkers of all levels and ages.
