FSK High School 1st annual car & truck show

On Saturday, September 6, 2014 Francis Scott Key High School will hold its 1st Annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The show is open to the public and all makes and models of vehicles are welcome. The show is day of show registration only. The cost to enter a vehicle is $10 and entry for spectators is free.

Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the following categories: 1900-1949, 1950-1959, 1960-1972, 1973-1989, 1990-present, Corvettes, street rods, tuners, motorcycles, and trucks. In addition, there will be an award for Best Alumni Vehicle, Best Student Vehicle, and Best Student Truck. Awards for this event are sponsored by Crouse Ford Sales, Taneytown.

During the car show there will be food, music provided by dj Joey C., and a variety of vendors. Car show entrants will qualify for multiple door prize drawings. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.

FSK is in its second year of an effort to raise the funds for an electronic marquee for the school entrance which will provide valuable information to our school’s students and larger community. As part of this event we will again be hosting a Drive for Your School fundraiser sponsored by Ford Motor Company and our local Ford dealership in Taneytown, Crouse Ford. Ford will donate $20 to FSK for every licensed driver who test drives a car at FSK on September 6th between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
